Nickname- Ohhhh boy! Lots of nicknames. My SWAT nickname is "Fester" unfortunately I look like Uncle Fester with my uniform turtle neck on. My Narc. nickname is "Chewy" probably due to my fascination with the Star wars movies. No Softball nickname yet, but I am sure WO 18 will have one soon for me...

Sports background- I played High School and city league baseball as a kid. I was really really tiny growing up, so when it came to sports I played them all but was never really good at any one sport.

Softball history- I've been playing Rec. league softball since 89'. With in the past few years started to step up my hitting and began to play a lot of tourneys and get on some real competitive teams.

Current Police softball team- The green and gold of the Wayne/Oakland Police softball club.

Past Police softball team- Had a brief stint with the, now dead, Metro Detroit (not Detroit Metro) Softball team.

Proudest Police softball moment- Well, it has nothing to do with performance on the field. When I started playing Police softball (about 8-9 years ago) there were some teams that you just stood around and watched. One of those teams was the Wayne Oakland team. These guys were Monsters! I can just remember these guys coming out and dominating teams. Two guys in particular were Andy Wurm and at the time, their First baseman. (sorry I cant remember his name) he continues to play for Michigan Lawman. These two guys would just crush the ball every time at the dish. I would only hoped to have played against them, much less play on their team. Long story short, the Wayne/Oakland team parted ways, but Andy has been looking to rebuild. I was fortunate enough to play league ball with Andy and he wanted me to play on his Wayne Oakland team. Thus far, this is my proudest moment!

Lowest Police Softball moment- I haven't had any bad experiences yet! I'm too new to this game!

Future personal goal in Police softball- Greed! I want it all! I want to win every tourney the Green and Gold plays in. I love this business and I love this game. My goal will never change, it's to have fun!

Where do you see our sport in 5-10 years?- I see nothing but a bright horizon. You guys at PS.com probably didn't realize how important this Web site would be. This site will single handedly turn around our sport. Just hearing about the World Series, the talk about the early Cali tourneys and Houston tourneys is exciting. The competition is growing and that's why we play. This site allows us to get pumped up and raise the level of our play. Which makes for some really good ball.

2006 will be my first "true" year in Police softball. I'm looking forward to beating every team we play! ;-) Look, realistic expectations are I'm looking forward to meeting the faces behind the names on this site. Softball is our sport. Our sport brings us competition and camaraderie. Camaraderie brings us friendship. Friendship brings us good times! Good times last forever! Thank you PS.com for this opportunity to show a little piece of me.
