Assignment Uniform Patrol – Commander
PS.com Nick

Position: Pitcher

Nicknames: D-Rock, JAX 612

Sports History:
High School Football, Wrestling, Baseball & Skipping School. Junior College Baseball – 2 years.

Civilian Teams:
Various ASA “A” teams in Florida.

Notable Teams Played For:
Florida Lawmen, NY Metro, Wayne-Oakland, Detroit Police, South Florida Lawmen, SoCal/CHP. (All when JPSC didn’t play)

Proudest Moment:
All “5” Dayton National Police Softball Championships with JPSC – and “1” with Florida Lawmen. Countless LEO friendships. Also providing guidance and leadership for my Brother LEO’s by helping them become the Roosters of their HEN house.

Lowest Moment:
Lowest moments are the long plane rides home after not winning a tournament.

Personal Goals:
Don’t have any personal goals – come on this is a simple game as long as they still pitch underhand – I mean girls play softball!! My goal is to win every tournament with dignity and class.

What do you for our sport in the future:
I see it getting bigger yet I’m not sure if it will be better. PS.com has been awesome by opening communication lines throughout the United States. I would like to see more tournaments centrally located so east and west could compete against each other consistently. I am against multi-state combo teams because it will eliminate the little guy without financial resources. You should be able to have a competitive team within one state. I am hopeful we all can remain healthy and continue to be competitive on the field and brothers off it.

What would you change about our sport:
I would like to see stricter accountability of eligibility at tournaments. Whatever the rules are, make sure they are enforced. We have proven not to be able to “police” ourselves; someone is always trying to get an unfair advantage. Also, with the new bat technology, we must increase the Home Runs and protect the pitchers. Many of us have or still do play civilian softball, but there is nothing more rewarding than competing against your peers and developing lasting friendships.

My personal motto:
When I am gone from this world it won’t matter how much money I had, what kind of car I drove or any personal achievements. What will matter the most is that my children’s memory of me will be filled with Love and Respect and my Dedication to them.
