Sports background: I have played sports all of my life and still play softball and I play on the prison football team. I also like to race my stock car on dirt tracks. I am a high school football official and I coach baseball and football.

Softball History: I started playing rec softball in 1990 and started playing law ball in 2000. I used to play first base and catcher until our pitcher was not showing for the games so I started pitching

Current Police Team: I currently play for California QUAKE. They are a class act and really fun guys, The Quake has a great family feeling about them.

Past Police Teams: I played for the Scorpions

Proudest Police Softball Moments: My proudest moment is winning the GOLD Medal in VEGAS this past year. I won the GOLD in MESA and the Western States games but Vegas was the greatest, sharing the moment with my friends and teammates was overwhelming. All the batting practice and all the drama was over. We battled in every game that tournament. By the time the gold medal game was over the park was nearly empty. But it did not matter because we played for each other.

Lowest Softball Moment: The lowest point is hard to say because every day on the field with my brothers means something to me. A bad softball game is still better than mowing the grass at home.

Future personal goals in Police Softball: To win the PoliceSoftball.com World Series of Softball

Where do you see our sport in 5-10 years: Our sport will be defined by tourneys like the World Series, Palm Springs, Dayton and Vegas. I hope more teams will consider traveling out of their areas to the East and West. One of these days I would like to play in a tourney with 5 infielders and 4 outfielders where you pitch to your own team. Just a thought….
