This year there were 15 highly qualified East Coast Nominees who were nominated by their peers in PS.COM. It truly should be considered an “honor” just being nominated for the PS.COM Hall of Fame. When the committee discusses the nominees we take into consideration several key factors before we vote. These factors are longevity in Police Softball, playing ability, coaching/managing/sponsoring a team, being a tournament director, professionalism on and off the field and if they truly made a positive impact or were a game changer within the Police Softball community.
The East Coast Hall of Fame Committee is proud to announce their 2014 Hall of Fame Inductee’s. The HOF Committee is chaired by Dennis Leonard (Florida) and its members are Richie “Koko” Ware (New York), Dan Spinelli (New York), Dave Woolfe (Ohio), Terry Dugan (Virginia), David “Popeye” Stevens (Florida), Terry Ables (Ohio), Steve Matakovich (Steele City), Vic Ortalano (Pennsylvania) and Ron Breeden (Maryland).
All the nominees were excellent and several nominees just missed being selected to this year’s class.
