2018 Report:
Model of consistency. You can always count on them to be inside the top 5 come Sat evening in Vegas. Will they be the first two time Gold Div World Champs this year? Not if Iowa, Metro Detroit, Louisiana, Galvez etc. have something to say about it.

2017 Report:
Yet another strong World Series performance keeps this team near the top of the Gold Division. Some injuries in Vegas might have derailed their shot at a 2nd World title. Balanced attack with no weaknesses to exploit. Fun team to watch.

2016 Report:
Epic run through the loser bracket. Would have loved to see them face San Antonio in the big dance on Angel.

2014 Report:
Ps.Com Comments: For the first time ever, Chicago was the team people were rooting against! It is not easy to win a championship and it is even harder to defend it. Chicago learned that lesson first hand in Vegas. They had to endure allegations of sandbagging after their 0-2 start (followed by a 49 run first round playoff win). But, these allegations were simply false. Chicago lost the next two games and tapped out T17 which is their worst WS finish in years. They were missing a couple key starters this year, they were in everyone's gunsights, and they simply didn't recapture that magic. But, they KNOW that magic is there as they have lived it. We expect a more productive 2015 as they will be out of the spotlight and can get back to sneaking up on teams like they used to. Committee Comments: Another true bubble team. Missing guys at WS was cause of poor finish

2013 Report:
Gold Division World Champions! Not only did they win it, they crushed the previously favored OH5O with a 20 run rule championship game. They ran the table at the World Series going undefeated throughout and in doing brought well deserved national exposure to the team. They are everyone's favorite team as they don't steal players from other squads. They develop the players internally and still ensure the veterans retain an important role on the team. They have the strongest fan base of any cop team we have seen and we enjoyed seeing them celebrate all night on Angel Field after their championship. 12.Chicago - awesome run at WS, is anybody not happy to see that for this team??? 15. Chicago Metro, how will they handle the Majors Division? For years and years they travelled only to get pummeled but they landed in the right division at the WS and pulled off a miracle. They are a testament to keeping a team together and finally hit the lottery.

2012 Report:
22. Chicago XXX 18. Chicago Metro XXX 19. Chicago although the results don't show it they did look much better this year XXX 20. Chi Metro

2011 Report:
I thought they had a chance to the win the Gold this year but came out flat.19. Chi-Metro- Always a favorite team of mine.

2010 Report:
This team represents the true spirit of cop softball. They have a die-hard fan base, a group of dedicated players and now have plenty of positive momentum to build on. They won the Div II in Sterling and then looked like world beaters in the Gold Div World Series. Talent wise, they are one of the top Gold Div teams and if you are a platinum team that takes them lightly you will be in for a rude awakening. Congrats on a strong finish and we look forward to seeing you build on it next year.
