We have adjusted the tournament format to fit the needs of the World Series type teams and the smaller type department only teams. Teams will be placed into brackets with like type competitive teams. Police Softball ratings, department size, and current competitive level will be considered in the pool assignment.
Current USSSA style pitching will be allowed for the large, rated team brackets, this is in consideration for the up coming World Series in October.
The plate and mat will be used for the smaller team brackets.
We are trying to have this tournament fair for everyone, big and small alike.
We have obtained excellent hotel rates this year at the Holiday Inn Resort, located at 1800 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92264. The rate is $55.00 each night; they have one of the best pools in valley and are only 15 minutes from the fields. At these rates, the rooms will go fast.
