CenCal and Reloaded emerge as victors!
Desert Shootout Recap
CenCal Connection Majors Champions
Thanks to all who supported the 6th Annual Law Enforcement Desert Shootout Tournament on May 10th and 11th at the Golden Eagle Complex in Sparks, NV.
A portion of this year’s proceeds again went to the Ofc. John Hege Memorial Fund (OJHMF.org). John gave the ultimate sacrifice 10 years ago on March 21st , 2009. As an organ donor, he lives on through those he was able help after his death. Please check out OJHMF.org and become a donor.

This year’s Home Run Derby crown was taken by Sparks own Brock Kyler who established himself as one of the top hitters on the West Coast.

The 2019 player party was held at Game On Sports Bar in the Nugget. They provided plenty of hospitality and beverages.

Round Robin play didn’t have too many surprises as teams entered into the A and B Flights. Reloaded, Controlled Chaos, DEA, Stanislaus and Connection all looked sharp.

The A Flight bracket showed a solid Stanislaus team push through the loser’s bracket into the championship game. DEA vs Stanislaus was an entertaining game that featured great talent and sportsmanship.
Connection eventually proved too much for Stanislaus as their offense could not be stopped.

The B Flight championship featured a tough Reloaded team in the winner’s bracket and a resilient Controlled Chaos squad. For the second year in a row, the B Flight championship game included a huge comeback. Chaos was geared to force the “if” game until the veteran Reloaded team mounded the best come-from-behind win of the day.

A Flight
1- Cen Cal Connection
2- Stanislaus Combo
3- DEA Combo

B Flight
1-NorCal Reloaded
2-Controlled Chaos
3-ELDO Cartel

On behalf of the Officer John Hege Memorial Fund, I thank everyone for supporting our event. We also want to thank the Nugget Resort, Doug Foremaster, Tyson Becker, Steve Abina and Express Athletics.
