Anthony standing outside the park of the Police World Series
If you have ever coach a police softball team you know it is the hardest aspect of the game. It takes dedication, time away from your family and very thick skin because there is always someone willing to criticize your decisions.
Anthony Buonadonna has these qualities and more. He has ran Chicago Metro for eleven years and has steadily built this team up to where they are now. They have attended every World Series since 2007 and if your team has never gotten on a plane, you have no idea what effort this takes.
Under Anthony's guidance, Chicago Meto has 13 top 3 tournament finishes since 2008 and they have over 30 team wins as they roll into the World Series.
Anthony also manages their league night teams and is involved in all of their fundraisers. Simply put, Anthony does everything you want a top notch manager to do and he has been doing it for quite some time. For all of his work over the years, we think this award is well earned.
We are sure you hear it from your players but we also want to thank you. Our sport could lose a lot of players and still survive but if we lose top flight managers, we are surely in trouble.
