Latest Tournament Report:
Won the B-Flight in Lincoln. Not a bad way to get the positive momentum going. Awarded 1 extra point for winning the B-Flight which explains whey the rec'd 3 points instead of 2.

In 2008:
We had high hopes for this team in 07. They lost a few heart breakers in the 06 World Series. They pushed 05 WS Champs the Ohio Lawmen to 8 innings and also took the 07 WS Champs the SoCal Alliance to the bottom of the 7th. It had to be disappointing being so close to securing a couple major upsets and we figured they would roll some teams in 07. The plans did not pan out. They teased us by showing us flashes of their ability (example: they ended the SoCal Alliance 4 tournament undefeated streak). But they never did close the deal and put it all together over the course of a tournament. As a result, several key players jumped ship in the off-season seeking greener pastures: 2008 OUTLOOK: We thought they were done, but that will not be the case. They have already inked for the West Covina tournament and intend on being just as active as ever. They might be rebuilding, the NorCal is rich in talent so they should have no problem finding qualified players.

In 2006:
Marked their spot on the map with an exclamation point with their World Series performance. Their 1-3 finish was deceptive as they still posted a positive run differential and took defending champs the Ohio Lawmen 9 innings. If they would have played more often this year they would have captured more press. If the Cats become a regular on the circuit, they will be battling for a top 5 spot.

Tournaments Hosted
How We Beat You
In slowpitch softball, just hit better than our opponent, score runs with situational hitting, and play fundamental defense at all times. You can't give a slowpitch softball team more than 3 outs in an inning.
How You Beat Us
By taking advantage of our sometimes lackluster hitting, and scoring the runner who got on via an error or a mental lapse on our part. Unearned runs are killers.
Team Highlight
Have medalled 3 times in the Nevada Police Games in B Flight since 2000. Two trips to the Arizona Police & Fire Games garnishing a Bronze medal and a Gold medal in '05 B Bracket. Silver Medalists in the '03 California Police & Fire Games in Sacramento, CA.
Team Lowlight
Everytime we don't medal or finish in the top 3 in a tournament. Its disappointing but we just try to come back harder in the next tournament. Can't win them all.
Goals
MEDAL in the tournaments we travel to and basically have fun playing competitive softball against other LE teams.
