2018 Report:
They were pretty quiet all season and then showed up in a big way in Vegas. Much like Chicago, these guys seem to find a way to get deep on the big stage. You have to wonder how good they would be if they didn't lose some of that Iowa talent to the Norsemen who poached down from Minnesota and invaded the Iowa recruiting grounds.

2017 Report:
For a team that only had 9 guys going into the World Series, they had an epic run. Well deserved bump in the rankings.

2016 Report:

2014 Report:
Ps.Com Comments: They are truly a small market team that manages to compete, and compete well against the big teams. They defeated the highly regarded LA Lawmen to earn a ticket to the Majors Division in the World Series. They were outgunned in Majors, but few knew they were missing two key starters including their shortstop. They are consistently a top 5 (3 last year) Gold level team and that is probably where they belong. That said, they can close out 2014 season knowing they earned their way into the Majors Divison and also earned a big bump in the rankings. Next year they will certainly be a favorite to win Gold. Committee Comments: Good team but had some bad luck with injuries this season.12. Iowa - Set up nicely for a run at WS Gold Championship until they played themselves into Major's Div

2013 Report:
Their World Series 3rd place finish was their best in team history. We always project them high, and then they fall short of expectations. This year we didn't talk much about them. And they used that to fuel their internal fire because they looked outstanding in Vegas. They were only ONE RUN away from beating Chicago and it would have been them in the Championship game. Team management has vowed to come back stronger next year as anything less than dancing on Angel Field celebrating their championship will be a disappointment for this determined squad. 14.Iowa - Great finish at WS, will we see them more next year? 19. Iowa Lawmen

2012 Report:
21. Iowa. They had a chance to do some damage in Vegas but missed the opportunity. 20. Iowa Lawmen- Seem to be solid and they won the game I saw.

2011 Report:
Looked very strong in Vegas but need to see more of them.

2010 Report:
They are the best team nobody knows about. The game that ultimately sent them home in the World Series was epic. Losing by one run is never a pleasent experience but they certainly opened some eyes. When they were eliminated several teams still in the mix quietly rejoyced at the prospect of not seeing Iowa. Hopefully the "what could have been" experience will motivate them to be more active next season. We would like to see them on the national stage at least 2-3 times in 2011.
