2018 Report:
Gold Division champs in convincing fashion. They owned Vegas from the minute they stepped onto the field until the minute they popped the champagne. As a result they get a well deserved promotion to Majors.

2017 Report:
World Series Gold Division champions. They were the best team that weekend, no question about that. Very complete team.

2016 Report:
14) Texas Cartel - 7th Gold WS - Not many teams knew who these guys were, but they definitely know now. Great team, great talent and great tournament. 14. Texas Cartel- Seem to always look good early but cannot sustain it. If they could maintain their high level of play all tourney they could easily win the Gold championship. Next year could be their year.

2014 Report:
Ps.Com Comments: We were pleasently surprised with their WS performance. Last year they came out of the gates like gangbusters but then fizzled in the playoffs. This year they produced when it mattered and finished T7 out of 36 teams! We know travel is expensive but they really do need to get out of the Lone Star bubble and take their show on the road at least once earlier in the season. Committe Comments: tied 7th finish at WS. Team has talent.

2013 Report:
Massive jump in the rankings after an outstanding World Series showing. Nobody knew what to expect from the "rookie" squad and they promptly smashed their way to a bracket #1 seed. They let off the gas in the playoffs but still had many teams looking over their shoulders to see where the Cartel was looming. The scary thing was 2 of their best players, including 1 & 2 on their pitching depth chart were pulled from the World Series one week prior due to the federal government shut down.
