The Grandaddy of them all adds another year to their great history.
Garden State Masters Team showed they are one of the top Masters in the nation.
This year’s tournament was held in Cincinnati, Ohio for the first time in it’s 42-year history. Even though the venue changed and we did not compete on the HILL, the level of play was outstanding, as well as, the camaraderie and sportsmanship. The NYPD Blues beat the Ohio Lawmen 19-14 to capture their third National Police Softball Championship. Suffolk County finished a strong third and OH-5O finished with a very respectable fourth.
NYPD BLUE’S Butch Crozier was named MVP of the tournament.
DAYTON METRO TAKES SILVER DIVISION
Dayton Metro won the Silver Division only after beating Chicago Metro in the IF Game. Metro Detroit’s Finest finished third and Greene County Enforcers took fourth.
Dayton Metro’s Lloyd Alexander was named the Silver Division MVP
GARDEN STATE TAKES THE MASTERS DIVISION
Lets not forget the great Masters play. The Masters Division was won by Garden State with the Ohio Lawmen Masters finishing second.
Garden State’s Craig Sears was named Masters Division MVP
