Gary ''Professional Hitter'' Magana
Gary played collegiate baseball at Sacramento State from 1974-1975. He began playing Police Softball in 1977 with Sacramento P.D. and played with them for over 30 years. Gary began his journey as a left fielder but soon moved to shortstop and then 3B. When someone looks up the definition of a 700 hitter there should be a picture of Gary Magana. He truly is the model of consistency. Gary has collected numerous All-Tournament selections and was given the nickname "Professional Hitter" by his teammates. Gary has poured his heart and soul into Sacramento Police Department Softball and his #13 jersey should hang with the best that have played Police Softball.
