Del Pickney founded the SoCal Alliance in 2001 after running his department’s single agency team for many years. The Alliance won their first major tourney in 2002 and never looked back. Del managed the team as they won numerous tournaments including back to back World Series titles. In 2005 Del Pickney created PoliceSoftball.com which has transformed the sport in many ways including creating a Hall of Fame, National Rankings, a Hall of Heroes and providing a manner for every police softball player in the nation to communicate. Del has been the tournament director of the World Series since its’ inception.
