The prize package is second to none in police softball and there will be no bat excuses. All teams will be swinging the same high quality Easton bats and this tournament should be a shootout. The tournament is a one day event but offers the same game guarantee (4) that most every other tournaments offer. The one day format was selected to allow teams to save money on lodging. Teams traveling considerable distances can request late game times which will allow them to leave and get back home on the same day if they desire. Many high caliber teams will want to do this tournament and the Bacon Ball Las Vegas tournament. The one day format will allow teams to do both tournaments if they desire without too much hardship on them.

WORLD SERIES BERTH: The highest finishing team in this tournament not already guaranteed a spot in the World Series will be reserved a spot in the 2008 PoliceSoftball.com World Series.

This tournament is also part of the BOOMBAH POINTS CHASE – Silver Series which is the same
series as the Bacon Ball tournament. Points earned in this tournament can only help a team in the points chase and cannot hurt a team not matter how they finish. If you dont have all your guys, play it out and see what happens. (THERE IS NO POINTS PENALTY FOR PLAYING POORLY)

This event is a “Bring ur Real Skilz” event which means Easton bats will be provided and they will be the ONLY bats used during the tournament. Every field will have a 26, a 27 and a 28 ounce Easton bat. If you are a team who feels other teams have “better” bats than you, this is your chance to prove it. If your team is suspected of having “better” bats, then this is your chance to show up and prove others wrong.

The prize package and fields will make this a sought after tournament. Only the first 24 teams to pay their entry will be allowed in. The first 10 coaches who get their entry fee in will receive a pair of PoliceSoftball.com batting gloves.
