The 10th addition of the Police Softball Worlds Series was dedicated to Ryan Sauceda, Dan Spinelli and everyone who has battled Cancer. To help Ryan and his family during this time, a donation booth was set up with raffle prizes and a donation box for teams and individuals. Teams from throughout the Police Softball Community donated items and money for this great cause. The entire event was a success and helped raise over $3000.00 to Ryan and his family. But that’s not all, The Snyder family (So Cal area) and the Tirelli family (New York area) are going to have Cancer Sucks T shirts made and will sell the shirts in their respected areas with the proceeds going to Ryan and his Family.
Special Thanks to Pete Salvaggio, Bryan Schmidt, Joe Freeman, Jeff Chandler and Ralph Contreras for putting in countless hours at the donation booth and making this a success.
The fight is not over and we will continue to help Ryan and his family as long as we can. People had some great idea to help Ryan including Carlos from the ELITE Booth. One easy way would be to have the Super Bowl squares where each square is $20 and half goes to the winner while the other half goes to Ryan and his family.
We want to thank everyone in the Police Softball community, especially Del and JB for everything. The fight continues for Ryan and many others. We are going to continue to be supportive in any way we can.
Thank you everyone.
