by: The People!!!     Jan 14, 2009
These are dangerous teams but consistency is what they will need to impress the voters.
The next group of teams as voted on by the people............11) Bluegrass Lawmen: Bunch of young guys on the verge of learning the ins/outs of this game. If this team plays to their ability, watchout! The hillbillys can flat out hit and drink. A team on the rise. This team can flat out play. But, they face the same hurdles in moving up in the rankings. Can they play enough of the big ones to move to the top 10? We shall see! They can beat any team in the country in pool play but when the elimination games begin their lack of defense kills them. Best drinkers on the east coast..........12) Dirty Jersey Boys: Can they keep up the pace with big boys, back to back top 10 will prove it. They lost some sticks. Which team will they field in 2009? That may be the only question for these guys! Who can tell with the State of NJ - they mix and match than the contents of a bag of planters trail mix with players. Must deal with the illegal bat issue in NY which allegedly no one knew about. Dirty John is the face of this team and with him they will be ok..................13: Motor City Blues: New additions great leadership will end up at the finals at some tourney's this year. Best team to ever go 0-4 at the World Series. Andy P. needs to believe in this team and the team needs to believe in him. Might just be the best up and coming squad around. Added some talent to an already good team. Can they make the move? They are building a team the right way - through an ever developing farm system and staying away from the over priced free agent market. Andy Pawlik is a true quality leader. Andy P is what police softball is all about.
14: Steel City Enforcers: Have beaten the top teams in the East, just cannot make a successful seven game run. New additions and a runner-up finish in Cincy were big morale boosters. I'm not sure which "BIG" east coast teams they claim to have beaten but would be a "B" flight team in the west. Needs to get to the World Series to really see how this team stacks up in the nation.

15: St Louis Lawmen: Cannot stand this team! LOL. Team kills the ball and never lets up. Once they get out and travel a bit more watch out! Tons of talent and good guys!! Great team, just don't see them enough. Can they play enough to move up in the rankings. I guarantee is they play more, they will be in the top 5! Once again this team was playing on Sunday at the Series. This team was swinging some hot sticks at the WS with some real new faces. Very good on paper but show up more often and we will see.

16) Wayne-Oakland: Dont know what this team will do but expect them to play well wherever they land. With Andy involved, they will always be in the hunt. This team seems to be a triple a team with all of its stars getting snatched up to go to the show. Never count the green and gold out.

17) Shamrock Enforcers: These guys can mash! When Mercado shows up, they're the best team in the East. Bald headed #9 can cover 2/3 of the outfield, and #38 goes deep 3/4 of the time. Good dudes and good ballplayers. Can they find their bats for a whole tournament? If they do, expect them to move up a bit! Disapointed a little last year with how they finished up. I expected more out of them.

18) Illinois Lawmen: A good team with 5 very good players if they add quality and travel the could be real good.

19) Secret Service: Secret Service - A very good team when they play - should play less this year with extra threats on Obama. Beat MCB and put a big scare into the Alliance at the Series. If this team plays like they did in round robin at the Series, expect them to jump a class or two.

20) DAP: Just fill in my top 20 with DAP. Either them or the famed Alabama Lawmen who never show up in Jax.
