This Edition of our All-Decade Team includes a Tale of Two Scott's.
Much like the dynamic duo on the Alliance, we have another duo playing for the Great Lakes Lawmen. Making up this duo we have Scott Czopek and Scott Waxweiler. Both of these players had a major impact on their teams and our sport during the last decade of PoliceSoftball.com. Both have won a World Series championship, and have been instrumental to their teams success and, we would argue, have been instrumental in their teams existence.
Scott Czopek is a former player of the year and he has won a World Series HR Derby. His leadership is among the best of the game and players gravitate towards him. Scott Waxweiler played a big role for police softball in the state of Illinois before helping create the merger that formed the Great Lakes Lawmen. As a Great lakes lawmen, he has been named a PS.com Player of the year and has won numerous awards at tournaments throughout the country over the last 10 years.

If you started a team today and drafted a young Scotty Z and a young Wax, you would have a cornerstone of leadership and high level play for the next decade. Not a bad couple of draft picks.
