Tim Ramsey shutting down the middle in Reno, Nv.
Tim Ramsey manages the NorCal Elite team and he is one of the busiest and most active managers on the circuit. Not only does he lead from the dugout, he also leads from the field as a very deceptive USSSA pitcher for the team.
NorCal Elite has had to rebuild several times and every time, Tim is there to make sure the team remains competitive, better than before, and one that can never be taken lightly. His team is very active on the circuit and arguably plays in and supports more tournaments than any other team in the West Conference. They typically open the season at the DEA Kickoff, head back home (North) to the WC United tourney in Reno, bounce back to SoCal for the WC Championship and continue this pattern all year long. In addition to all of this, he also hosts the Friday one day Manteca series to help fund his teams travel. His Manteca tournament series is a big hit as it allows teams to stay active without dipping too deep into their annual budget. In addition to all this, Tim is an integral part of the team as a player/coach. He toes the rubber for the team and is known as a cagey, fearless USSSA style pitcher.
If our circuit had more Tim Ramsey's at the helm of our teams, we would be a very healthy and lucky sport.
Congratulations Mr. Ramsey on a well deserved award!
