Three new members are inducted
West Conference Hall of Fame Class 2014
Ps.Com Hall of Fame Ring
This year we had six nominations submitted for the PS.Com Hall of Fame. It is truly an honor to be nominated by your peers and teammates. Congratulations to all of the nominees for this honor. Each nominees biography was forwarded to the West Coast HOF Committee for consideration. Each nomination is considered based on the PS.Com HOF criteria, and other considerations such as longevity in the sport, playing ability, and other factors as they pertain to Police softball

The West Coast Committee is proud to present their 2014 HOF Inductees as voted
on by the committee. All of the nominees were excellent and some of the nominees
narrowly missed induction this year.

The 2014 West Coast Hall of Fame Inductees are as follows:

Ken Dawley- DEA Combo

Jimmy Sanders- Hardcor

Mark Tolliver- Hardcor

Thank you to all of the Committee Members for their work to make this happen.
The members of the committee are as follows:

Keith Benjamin- Asst. Chairman, West Coast
Jeff Blair-West Coast
Joe Castillo- West Coast
Frank Gombos- West Coast
David Clark- West Coast
Larry Jones- West Coast
Jim Lemmon- West Coast
Chris Loera-West Coast
Derwin Longmire- West Coast
Joe Mestres-West Coast
Daniel Ornelas-West Coast
Jim OíRourke- West Coast

Ken Dawley-DEA Combo

Ken Dawley was a mainstay on some of the best West Coast teams. Ken was a superb
outfielder and infielder who led with his glove or his bat. Ken always led with
his team first attitude, often doing whatever was needed for the team to win. He
could hit for average or power, and would lead his teams with his infectious
style of play. His myriad of talents helped him to lead his teams to two WS
Masterís championships. Ken has won many accolades throughout his career and now
he is a member of the HOF.

Jim Sanders- Hardcor

Jim started out as a young gun outfielder for the 2006 small market WS champs
Sacramento Probation. He was a true five tool player. He always hit for a very
high average, and could use his power on command. He roamed the outfield like a
gazelle, and had a cannon for an arm. Jim has speed to burn, and was highly
sought out for his talents. He eventually landed with Hardcor, and was a vital
member of their powerful team. Jim has won a WS Masterís Championship, and been
a two time PS.Com All-Star.

Mark Tolliver-Hardcor

The list of accomplishments for Mark are way too numerous to mention. He is a
two time WS champion, and was named a member of the PS.Com All Decade Team. Mark
may arguably have been one of the best pitchers to ever toe the rubber in Police
Softball. He has tremendous power and could get a key hit whenever it was
needed. But most impressive for Mark is the way he imposed his will on his
Hardcor teammates and all other teammates he has played with throughout his
career. Mark had an uncanny knack for making all of the players around him
better with his sheer will to win. Mark was the glue which kept Hardcor in the
hunt for many years.
